Our software is certified by Apple

When you launch Kafka IDE for the first time, you may see a dialog informing you that Apple analyzed the app for malicious software, and none was detected.

To start Kafka IDE, you can click Open.

What this means

Providing secure and reliable software is our main goal.

We submit all Kafka IDE versions through a process called Notarization. This process consists of sending our builds directly to Apple, which scans our software for malicious content.

The Notarization process helps to ensure that any particular release that we've built in our servers and the app that you ultimately get hasn't been affected in any way along the way. This is achieved by an Apple service called Gatekeeper.

How to launch app on Windows

The first time you launch Kafka IDE, you may see a dialog informing you that Windows Defender prevented the app from starting.

This is completely normal. When new software is developed and launched, some time is needed for the newly shipped application to build trust within the Windows platform..

For the time being, to start Kafka IDE, you can click More info, then the appearing Run anyway button.
